- Is found to have engaged in fraudulent activity, including but not limited to artificially inflating referral metrics, generating fake sign-ups, or manipulating the leaderboard;
- Violates these Terms, the Brand Guidelines, or any applicable law or university regulation;
- Acts in a manner that is harmful to the reputation of VarsityScape, its products, or its partners; or
- Is employed by or has a direct financial relationship with a direct competitor of VarsityScape.
Section 3: Program Structure and Roles
3.1 Two-Tier Structure
The Program operates on a two-tier structure per participating university:
- VS Program Manager (VarsityScape Team) — oversees Campus Leads across all participating schools.
- Campus Lead (one per school, ten total) — manages the Campus Ambassadors in their school, runs the school’s VarsityScape Platform Channel, and reports weekly to the VS Program Manager.
- Campus Ambassador — promotes VarsityScape within their university and refers students to the Platform via their unique Referral Link.
3.2 Selection Process
The selection process for Campus Ambassadors is as follows:
- VarsityScape generates a waitlist of applicants per participating school.
- VarsityScape reviews all applications and selects the top Ambassadors per school from the waitlist.
- Campus Lead applicants undergo an additional interview before selection.
- Selection decisions are made at VarsityScape’s sole and absolute discretion and are final.
- Applicants not selected in the top twenty are placed on a standby waitlist and may be activated if a selected Ambassador becomes Inactive or is removed from the Program.
3.3 Onboarding
All selected Ambassadors and Campus Leads are required to:
- Accept their ambassador or Campus Lead invite via the VarsityScape platform within 48 hours of receiving notification;
- Join their school’s dedicated VarsityScape Platform Channel upon acceptance;
- Locate and copy their unique Referral Link from their VS Profile dashboard; and
- Attend the 60-minute virtual onboarding session for their school cohort, the date and time of which will be communicated via the Platform Channel.
Failure to complete onboarding steps within the specified timeframes may result in forfeiture of the Ambassador role, which may be offered to the next eligible applicant on the waitlist.
Section 4: Ambassador Responsibilities and Obligations
4.1 Weekly Activity Requirements
During the Program period, each Ambassador is expected, at a minimum, to:
Activity | Weekly Minimum Requirement |
Class visits / faculty announcements | 1 per week (4 per month) |
QR Code Card distribution | Campaign total: 200 cards distributed across the Program period |
WhatsApp group posts (with Referral Link) | 1 post per group, in 3 or more groups per week (minimum 12 per month) |
WhatsApp Status posts (VS-branded content) | 3 per week (minimum 12 per month) |
Social media posts (Instagram / TikTok / X / LinkedIn) | 1 per week (minimum 4 per month) |
Referral sign-ups generated | Target: 5 sign-ups per week (minimum 20 per month) |
Paid Conversions facilitated | Target: 1 paid conversion per week (minimum 4 per month) |
Weekly activity report submitted | Every Sunday by 11:59 PM without exception |
The above targets are performance expectations, not guaranteed minimums. Ambassadors who consistently fall below these targets may be reviewed and, if warranted, removed from the Program.
4.2 Reporting Obligations
- All Ambassadors must submit the VarsityScape Weekly Activity Report Form via the Platform every Sunday by 11:59 PM. The form comprises 12 fields, including self-reported activity metrics and at least one piece of photo evidence of physical activities.
- Failure to submit a weekly report renders the Ambassador Inactive for that week. Ambassadors who are Inactive for two or more consecutive weeks may be removed from the Program without prior notice.
- Campus Leads must compile and submit a school-level weekly summary to the VS Program Manager every Sunday, incorporating data from all twenty Ambassadors in their school.
- All reported activities are subject to verification by the Campus Lead and/or VarsityScape. Photo evidence of physical activities (class visits, QR card distribution, events) is required to substantiate self-reported figures.
4.3 Campus Activation Events
Physical campus activation events are organised at the sole discretion of VarsityScape and will be held at up to five schools demonstrating the highest engagement metrics (sign-ups, paid conversions, and report compliance). Campus Leads at qualifying schools are responsible for co-coordinating these events. VarsityScape may allocate a budget per event to the qualifying schools.
All on-campus physical activities, including class announcements, banner placements, and event setup, must receive prior approval from the relevant Campus Lead. Activities involving third parties (lecturers, university administrators, or external venues) must also comply with any applicable university regulations.
4.4 Communications and Platform Usage
- All official Program coordination, reporting, and communication must take place via the school’s designated VarsityScape Platform Channel. WhatsApp is not an official Program coordination channel.
- Ambassadors must check their Platform Channel daily and respond to check-ins and announcements within 24 hours.
- Ambassadors must not share confidential Program information — including but not limited to stipend amounts, selection criteria, or internal strategy — outside the Program.
Section 5: Referral System
5.1 Referral Link and Attribution
- Each Ambassador and Campus Lead is issued one unique Referral Link upon successful onboarding. This link is non-transferable and must not be shared with or used by any other person.
- Referral attribution is automatic: when a user creates a VarsityScape account via an Ambassador’s Referral Link or QR Code Card, that sign-up is recorded against the Ambassador’s profile in real time.
- Paid Conversions are attributed when a referred user completes a qualifying purchase (minimum spend of $10 USD) on the Platform.
- In the event of a technical error affecting referral attribution, Ambassadors must report the issue to their Campus Lead within 48 hours. VarsityScape will investigate and, where verifiable, correct attributions at its sole discretion.
5.2 QR Code Cards
- Each Ambassador receives 200 personalised QR Code Cards. Each card bears that Ambassador’s unique referral QR code. Cards are the property of VarsityScape and must be used exclusively for Program purposes.
- Ambassadors must not deface, alter, reproduce, or redistribute QR Code Cards bearing another Ambassador’s code.
- Cards must not be placed in locations where they would be considered littering, defacement of property, or a violation of university policy.
5.3 Prohibited Referral Practices
The following practices are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification from the Program, forfeiture of all accrued rewards, and potential further action:
- Generating or attempting to generate fake, bot-driven, or fraudulent sign-ups via the Referral Link;
- Self-referring (creating an account using your own Referral Link);
- Sharing your Referral Link in a manner that constitutes unsolicited spam on any platform;
- Purchasing or subsidising course fees on behalf of referred users in order to generate fraudulent Paid Conversions;
- Manipulating, falsifying, or inflating self-reported activity metrics in weekly reports; and
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate referral clicks, sign-ups, or conversions.
Section 6: Compensation and Rewards
6.1 Non-Cash Base Benefits (All Ambassadors, On Joining)
All selected Ambassadors are entitled to the following base benefits upon completing onboarding:
- Free access to one VarsityScape academy of their choice (all courses within that academy) for the duration of the Program;
- One official VarsityScape Campus Ambassador digital certificate upon program completion, co-branded, shareable on LinkedIn;
- One ambassador merchandise kit (branded tee, water bottle, tote bag, wristband, jotter, and pen), delivered via the Campus Lead;
- Access to the VarsityScape Career Network (job board and internship listings from partner companies);
- Access to one personal branding virtual workshop hosted by VarsityScape; and
- Early access to new VarsityScape courses and features before general public release.
Base benefits are non-transferable, have no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6.2 USDC Referral Reward
- Ambassadors are entitled to earn a USDC Referral Reward of $1 USD equivalent (in USDC) for each referred user who spends a cumulative minimum of $10 USD on the VarsityScape Platform.
- USDC Referral Rewards are automatically credited to the Ambassador’s VarsityScape in-platform wallet upon the qualifying spend threshold being reached. No manual redemption is required.
- The USDC Referral Reward is subject to the referred user’s spend being genuine, non-refunded, and not generated through fraudulent means. VarsityScape reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or claw back any USDC Referral Rewards in cases of suspected fraud, chargebacks, or policy violations.
- USDC Referral Rewards accrued within the Platform wallet may be used toward VarsityScape course purchases. Withdrawal to external wallets or bank accounts is subject to Platform wallet functionality at the time of request, and VarsityScape does not guarantee external withdrawal capability during the Program period.
- There is no cap on the number of USDC Referral Rewards an Ambassador may earn, provided all referrals are genuine and compliant with these Terms.
6.3 Experience Points (XP) and Leaderboard
- Ambassadors earn XP for qualifying Platform activities including referrals, sign-ups, logins, and content engagement. XP accumulation is tracked in real time on the Ambassador dashboard.
- XP is used exclusively for leaderboard ranking and prestige. XP has no monetary value and cannot, under any circumstances, be converted to cash, USDC, or any other form of currency or benefit, whether on-Platform or off-Platform.
- The national leaderboard ranks Ambassadors across all participating schools, primarily by Paid Conversions, with sign-up volume as a tiebreaker and XP as a secondary prestige metric.
- The leaderboard is reset at the start of each calendar month. End-of-campaign rankings are determined by cumulative Paid Conversions across the entire campaign period.
6.4 National Prize Pool
- A prize pool of ₦100,000 is reserved for the top three Ambassadors nationally at the close of each month, based on XP across the entire month.
- Prizes are denominated in USDC and disbursed via the VarsityScape in-platform wallet. The exact USDC amounts per tier will be communicated to Ambassadors no later than two weeks before the campaign close date.
- Prizes will be disbursed no later than one month after when it is due. VarsityScape is not liable for delays resulting from platform wallet technical issues, banking system delays, or external service provider failures beyond its reasonable control.
- To be eligible for the Prize Pool, the Ambassador must have been Active throughout the campaign, must have submitted all required weekly reports, and must not have been subject to any fraud investigation or disciplinary action.
- VarsityScape reserves the right to disqualify any Ambassador from the Prize Pool where there is reasonable evidence of fraudulent or manipulated referral activity, even if that activity was not detected prior to the end of the campaign.
6.5 Campus Lead Compensation
Campus Leads receive the following compensation in addition to all Ambassador base benefits:
- A monthly stipend of between ₦15,000 and ₦25,000 per month, determined by school size and performance, payable within five business days of the close of each calendar month;
- Unlimited free access to all VarsityScape academies and courses for the duration of the Program;
- An official Campus Lead certificate (separate from and more prominent than the standard Ambassador certificate);
- Priority consideration for VarsityScape partner internship opportunities;
- A LinkedIn recommendation authored by VarsityScape’s Head of Marketing, issued upon successful completion of the Program;
- An invitation to VarsityScape’s internal strategy and recognition summit (Q3 2026); and
- An exclusive Campus Lead merch kit (branded hoodie, backpack, and ID card).
Campus Lead stipends are contingent on meeting the performance benchmarks set out in Clause 4.1 (as adapted for Campus Leads), timely submission of school-level weekly reports, and no material breach of these Terms. VarsityScape reserves the right to withhold, reduce, or prorate stipend payments where performance benchmarks are not met.
6.6 General Compensation Conditions
- All compensation, rewards, and benefits described in this Section 6 are conditional upon the Ambassador or Campus Lead not being in breach of these Terms at the time of disbursement.
- VarsityScape reserves the right to modify, reduce, or discontinue any reward or benefit with reasonable notice to Ambassadors, where necessitated by material changes in budget, operational circumstances, or Program scope.
- Ambassadors and Campus Leads are solely responsible for any tax or regulatory obligations arising from their participation in the Program, including any taxes applicable to USDC Referral Rewards or Prize Pool payments in their jurisdiction.
- VarsityScape does not guarantee any minimum level of earnings, Paid Conversions, or XP accumulation during the Program.
Section 7: Brand Guidelines and Content Standards
7.1 Approved Use of VarsityScape Brand
- Ambassadors are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the VarsityScape brand name, logo, and approved content templates solely for the purposes of promoting the Program during the campaign period.
- Ambassadors must use only VarsityScape-approved captions, graphics, visual templates, and messaging materials provided via the Platform Channel or the VS Design Team.
- All social media posts must tag @VarsityScape’s official account on the relevant platform and include the Ambassador’s Referral Link.
- All physical materials (QR Code Cards, stickers, banners) must be used as designed and must not be altered, defaced, or reproduced without VarsityScape’s prior written approval.
7.2 Prohibited Content and Conduct
Ambassadors must not, in connection with the Program:
- Make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated statements about VarsityScape, its products, its academies, or the outcomes learners can expect;
- Promise discounts, features, outcomes, pricing terms, or Program benefits that VarsityScape has not expressly confirmed in writing;
- Use VarsityScape’s brand name, logo, or materials in contexts unrelated to the Program or in a manner that could bring VarsityScape into disrepute;
- Create or publish content that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful;
- Post in any WhatsApp group or online community more than once per week in connection with the Program;
- Engage in high-pressure sales tactics, harassment, or unwanted communications with prospective users;
- Share or disclose any confidential or proprietary information belonging to VarsityScape that they have access to by virtue of their participation in the Program; or
- Impersonate any VarsityScape employee, partner, or official representative.
7.3 Brand Compliance Monitoring
Campus Leads are responsible for monitoring the social media posts and on-campus activities of Ambassadors in their school for brand compliance. Any non-compliant content must be flagged to the VS Program Manager within 24 hours of detection. VarsityScape may, at its discretion, require an Ambassador to remove or amend any content that breaches these Brand Guidelines.
Section 8: Intellectual Property
- All content, designs, templates, scripts, brand assets, training materials, and other materials provided by VarsityScape to Ambassadors in connection with the Program remain the exclusive intellectual property of VarsityScape or its licensors.
- No Ambassador or Campus Lead acquires any ownership rights, licences, or other interests in VarsityScape’s intellectual property by virtue of their participation in the Program, except for the limited licence set out in Clause 7.1 above.
- Any content created by an Ambassador that incorporates VarsityScape’s brand assets (including testimonial posts, social media content, and event photos) may be used, reproduced, adapted, and published by VarsityScape for marketing, promotional, and communications purposes, without any further consent or compensation being due to the Ambassador. By participating in the Program, you grant VarsityScape an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use such content for the above purposes.
- Upon termination or expiry of the Program, or upon an Ambassador’s removal from the Program, the limited licence granted in Clause 7.1 is automatically revoked. Ambassadors must immediately cease using VarsityScape’s brand name, logo, and materials in any form.
Section 9: Data Privacy
- By participating in the Program, Ambassadors consent to VarsityScape collecting, storing, and processing their personal data (including name, contact details, university, social media handles, activity data, referral metrics, and wallet information) for the purposes of administering the Program, tracking performance, disbursing rewards, and communicating Program updates.
- VarsityScape will handle all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at www.varsityscape.com/privacy. Ambassadors are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy before applying.
- Ambassador performance data (including leaderboard rankings and sign-up/conversion figures) may be shared within the Program (with other Ambassadors, Campus Leads, and the VS Program Manager) for the purposes of performance tracking and recognition. Detailed financial information (wallet balances, stipend amounts) will not be shared with other Ambassadors.
- Ambassadors who are featured in testimonial content or on VarsityScape’s social media accounts will be notified in advance and may request removal of specific content by contacting team@varsityscape.com.
Section 10: Suspension and Termination
10.1 Voluntary Withdrawal
An Ambassador or Campus Lead may withdraw from the Program at any time by providing written notice to their Campus Lead (or, in the case of a Campus Lead, to the VS Program Manager). Upon withdrawal, all accrued USDC Referral Rewards that have not yet been credited to the wallet will be forfeited unless the trigger conditions (Clause 6.2) have already been met. Base benefits (free academy access, certificate, merch) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the stage at which withdrawal occurs.
10.2 Removal by VarsityScape
VarsityScape reserves the right to remove an Ambassador or Campus Lead from the Program immediately and without prior notice in the following circumstances:
- Breach of any provision of these Terms and Conditions;
- Fraudulent, dishonest, or manipulative conduct in connection with the Program;
- Conduct that is harmful to the reputation or operations of VarsityScape or its partners;
- Two or more consecutive weeks of Inactivity without reasonable explanation;
- Academic suspension, expulsion, or disciplinary sanction by the relevant university that affects the Ambassador’s ability to engage in campus activities;
- Any conduct constituting a criminal offence or violation of applicable law; or
- Any other circumstance in which VarsityScape reasonably determines that continued participation is not in the Program’s interests.
Upon removal, the Ambassador forfeits all pending and future rewards, benefits, and entitlements under the Program, except for USDC Referral Rewards already credited to their wallet prior to the date of removal. VarsityScape reserves the right to claw back credited USDC Referral Rewards in cases of confirmed fraud.
10.3 Campus Lead Two-Week Review Clause
Where a Campus Lead is Inactive (as defined in Section 1) for two or more consecutive weeks, VarsityScape may, at its discretion, replace the Campus Lead with the highest-performing active Ambassador from the same school’s waitlist. The outgoing Campus Lead will be notified before replacement occurs, except in cases of serious misconduct where immediate replacement is necessary.
10.4 Program Suspension or Termination
VarsityScape reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Program (in whole or in part, and in relation to any or all schools) at any time, with at least seven days’ notice to participants, where:
- Operational, financial, or strategic circumstances make it impractical to continue the Program;
- Force majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters, government action, or platform-wide technical failures) prevent Program activities; or
- VarsityScape determines that the Program’s integrity has been materially compromised.
In the event of Program termination, VarsityScape will use reasonable endeavours to disburse accrued USDC Referral Rewards and pro-rated Prize Pool allocations to eligible Ambassadors within 30 days of termination.
Section 11: Limitation of Liability
- VarsityScape’s total aggregate liability to any Ambassador or Campus Lead arising out of or in connection with the Program — whether in contract, tort, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total value of compensation actually received by that individual during the Program period.
- VarsityScape shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss or damage, including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or reputational harm, arising out of or in connection with the Program.
- VarsityScape does not guarantee that the Platform will operate without interruption or error. Technical failures affecting referral attribution, wallet credits, or leaderboard data will be investigated and, where reasonably possible, corrected. However, VarsityScape accepts no liability for loss of referral data caused by technical issues outside its reasonable control.
- VarsityScape is not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of any third-party platform on which Ambassadors choose to promote the Program.
- Ambassadors and Campus Leads participate in the Program as independent contractors, not as employees, agents, or partners of VarsityScape. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, or joint venture between VarsityScape and any Ambassador or Campus Lead.
Section 12: Representations and Warranties
By applying to and participating in the Program, each Ambassador and Campus Lead represents and warrants that:
- All information provided in their application is truthful, accurate, and complete;
- They have the full legal capacity to enter into these Terms and to perform their obligations hereunder;
- Their participation in the Program does not and will not violate any agreement, policy, or obligation to which they are a party, including any university code of conduct or student regulations;
- They will conduct all Program activities in a professional, ethical, and legally compliant manner;
- They will not, in connection with the Program, engage in any conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party, or violates applicable data protection laws; and
- They own or have the necessary permissions for any content they create in connection with the Program (excluding VarsityScape-provided materials).
Section 13: Amendments
- VarsityScape reserves the right to amend, update, or supplement these Terms and Conditions at any time during the Program period.
- Notice of material amendments will be provided to Ambassadors via the Platform Channel and/or email, with a minimum of five business days’ notice before the amendments take effect, unless the amendment is required urgently to address a legal, security, or fraud-related matter, in which case it may take effect immediately.
- Continued participation in the Program after the effective date of any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Ambassadors who do not agree with any amendment may withdraw from the Program by providing written notice to their Campus Lead or, in the case of a Campus Lead, to the VS Program Manager, within five business days of receiving notice of the amendment.
Section 14: Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Program, or an Ambassador’s participation therein shall first be referred to informal resolution through the VS Program Manager. VarsityScape commits to responding to any formally submitted dispute within ten business days.
- Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days of submission, it shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023 (as amended) of Nigeria. The seat of arbitration shall be Lagos, Nigeria.
- Nothing in this Section prevents VarsityScape from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
Section 15: Miscellaneous
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Program onboarding materials and Brand Guidelines communicated to Ambassadors via the Platform Channel, constitute the entire agreement between VarsityScape and each Ambassador or Campus Lead in relation to the Program and supersede all prior representations, discussions, and agreements.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms, without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
15.3 Waiver
No failure or delay by VarsityScape in enforcing any provision of these Terms shall constitute a waiver of its rights to do so in the future. A waiver of any breach does not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
15.4 No Assignment
Ambassadors and Campus Leads may not assign, transfer, delegate, or sub-contract any of their rights or obligations under these Terms without VarsityScape’s prior written consent. VarsityScape may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms to any successor entity or in connection with a restructuring or acquisition, with reasonable notice to Ambassadors.
15.5 Notices
All notices, communications, and formal correspondence under these Terms must be submitted in writing to VarsityScape at team@varsityscape.com. Notices from VarsityScape to Ambassadors may be sent via the Platform Channel, email, or such other channel as VarsityScape designates.
15.6 Language
These Terms are written in the English language. In the event of any inconsistency between an English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
